Future Select Recruitment in Leeds is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene / Water Treatment Operations Manager to lead a busy site team. You will oversee contracts, ensure compliance, and deliver high standards for clients while providing technical guidance daily.

The role requires hands-on supervision, knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274, strong communication, and IT literacy. A competitive salary (£35k-£45k) plus training, benefits, and a company vehicle with fuel expenses are on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and managing teams of engineers in water hygiene/treatment.
• Strong knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with IT software and reporting.
• Ideally holds relevant training courses.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations for a water hygiene/treatment outfit.
• Monitor the progress of contracts and staff.
• Complete competency checks for office and site staff.
• Attend client meetings on site and provide technical support.
• Scope for new projects.
• Train and onboard new engineers and team members.
• Promote company services and identify commercial opportunities.
• Work with sales to oversee contract onboarding.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients.
• Attend regular internal meetings to discuss success.
• Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge.
• Build strong relationships with clients.

A leading name within the Water Hygiene / Water Treatment industry is seeking a proactive and reliable Operations Manager to join their team. We are seeking someone with strong hands‑on experience with conducting compliance tasks, who can utilise their expertise to successfully oversee a busy department. Our client is open to considering candidates who have some management / supervisory experience who would like to move into an operational role. You will be responsible for liaising with clients, to ensure contracts are delivered to a high standard and within agreed scopes. In addition, you will lead a team of site staff, providing technical support and general guidance on a daily basis. The Role
