Churchill Group is recruiting for a water hygiene plumbing role with responsibilities across commercial and domestic water systems. The position involves planned and reactive work, adherence to safety standards, and on-site servicing across multiple sites in the region.

Candidates should have City & Guilds (preferred) and a valid driving licence; 1 year plumbing experience is typical. The role offers full-time hours, with benefits and on-site parking supporting field work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out water hygiene plumbing and remedial work per procedures and method statements.
• Inspect/maintain pressurisation units and hot water calorifiers.
• Inspect cold water storage tanks; relining and replacements as needed.
• Inspect and service water treatment, closed loop and chilled systems.
• Inspect/maintain water softeners and perform general pipework alterations.
• Keep accurate records and follow health and safety procedures.
• Arrange client visits in a timely, professional manner.
• Support Service Manager and undertake other tasks as required.

The main purpose of this job…

You will be responsible for the delivery of planned and reactive plumbing, remedial and rectification work, on a wide variety of water systems and will require a good understanding of both commercial and domestic water systems and water treatment plant. You will be responsible for ensuring the work is carried out safely and in accordance with the required industry standards.

Role description

Key responsibilities:

• To carry out water hygiene plumbing and remedial work, in line with company procedures and method statements, to include the following:
• Pressurisation units & hot water calorifier inspections, servicing & maintenance
• Cold water storage tank inspections, relining and replacements.
• Water treatment inspections, installations, servicing and maintenance.
• Closed loop & chilled system inspections, servicing and maintenance.
• Water softeners inspection, servicing and maintenance.
• General pipework alterations and plumbing remedial work.
• Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with client requirements, scope and specification.
• Ensure all work records and forms (manual and electronic system based) are complete and accurate.
• Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed and recorded, and are complete and accurate.
• Ensure all arrangements for visits with clients are made in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide full support to Service Manager, as and when required.
• Any other reasonable tasks as required.
