Future Select Limited is recruiting a multi-skilled Water Hygiene / Plumbing Engineer to join the team. Ideally based in the North West and able to travel as required, the role suits someone with a diverse skillset and a varied workload from sampling to large plumbing installations.

Applicants should hold NVQ Levels in Plumbing with G3 Unvented ticket preferred, and training into Legionella Risk Assessing offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as Water Hygiene / Plumbing Engineer.
• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing as a minimum; Level 3 advantageous.
• G3 Unvented ticket preferred.
• Knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• Willingness to travel across the North West.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance and remedial duties across client premises.
• Deadleg removals and pipework modifications/replacements.
• Install and service water heaters; tank cleans and disinfections.
• TMV servicing/replacements and showerhead disinfections.
• Train in Legionella Risk Assessing; complete service reports.

Job Description

Due to continued company growth, our client is recruiting for a multi-skilled Water Hygiene / Plumbing Engineer to join their team. Ideally, they are seeking someone in the North West, who is happy to travel in line with company requirements. This role would suit someone who has a diverse skillset, and enjoys a varied workload day to day, as duties can vary from sampling/monitoring to larger plumbing installations and servicing. Ideally applicants will hold NVQ Levels in Plumbing and the G3 Unvented ticket. Our client is offering training into Legionella Risk Assessing and beyond, in addition to attractive salaries and benefits.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Experience working as a Water Hygiene / Plumbing Engineer
• Will hold the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing as a minimum (holding the Level 3 would be advantageous)
• Preferrably, you will also hold the G3 Unvented ticket
• Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Flexible to travel in line with company needs

The Role:

• Conducting a wide variety of compliance and remedial duties across client premises
