Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join our client’s team in Essex. The role covers a range of commercial and public sector sites, performing planned and reactive water hygiene duties to keep systems compliant with current legislation and industry standards.

You will deliver water hygiene services across client sites, including temperature monitoring, system flushing, water sampling, TMV servicing, and tank disinfection, while working to ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in water hygiene or related plumbing position.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Relevant water hygiene qualifications or training.

Responsibilities

• Delivering water hygiene services across a variety of client sites.
• Carrying out temperature monitoring, system flushing, and water sampling.
• Servicing and maintaining TMVs, including minor remedial works.
• Inspecting, cleaning, and disinfecting cold water storage tanks and calorifiers.
• Completing showerhead descaling and disinfection tasks.
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01, and WRAS guidelines.

A well-established water hygiene and treatment company is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join its growing team.

You will work across a range of commercial and public sector sites, carrying out both planned and reactive water hygiene duties to ensure client systems remain fully compliant with current legislation and industry standards.
