Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer for a North West role. The position includes a full-time schedule, a company vehicle, and a fuel card, with ongoing training and clear progression opportunities.

Salary ranges from £28,000 to £32,000 depending on experience; 22 days leave plus bank holidays, pension, and regular travel across the North West are included in the package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer or within a plumbing role.
• Knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG 274.
• Good understanding of water hygiene and legionella control.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to travel across the North West.

Responsibilities

• Temperature monitoring and recording.
• Water sampling and analysis.
• Tank cleans and disinfections.
• TMV servicing and maintenance.
• Mains chlorination.
• Showerhead cleaning and descaling.
• Completing accurate service reports and relevant documentation.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.
