Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Water Hygiene Engineer in Manchester to join a water hygiene and treatment provider. The role focuses on carrying out water hygiene tasks across commercial and public sector sites and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.

You'll have 2+ years' water hygiene or plumbing experience, essential training, and a full UK driving licence. A company vehicle is provided along with a performance bonus and overtime opportunities to support career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a water hygiene or plumbing-related role.
• Relevant water hygiene training (essential).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong understanding of compliance, safety and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out water hygiene tasks across commercial and public sector sites.
• Temperature monitoring, system flushing and water sampling.
• TMV servicing, maintenance and remedial works.
• Inspection, cleaning and disinfection of cold water storage tanks and calorifiers.
• Shower head descaling and system disinfection.
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01 and WRAS guidelines.

Salary: GBP30000 - GBP35000 per annum

Permanent | 37.5 hours + overtime
