Job summary

Penguin Recruitment in Manchester is recruiting a Water Hygiene Engineer to join a well-established water hygiene and treatment provider. This role suits someone with plumbing or water hygiene experience who wants to develop their career in a supportive, safety-focused environment.

You will carry out water hygiene tasks across commercial and public sector sites, including temperature monitoring, system flushing, water sampling and TMV servicing, ensuring compliance with ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a water hygiene or plumbing-related role.
• Relevant water hygiene training (essential).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong understanding of compliance, safety and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out water hygiene tasks across commercial and public sector sites.
• Temperature monitoring, system flushing and water sampling.
• TMV servicing, maintenance and remedial works.
• Inspection, cleaning and disinfection of cold water storage tanks and calorifiers.
• Shower head descaling and system disinfection.
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01 and WRAS guidelines.

Salary: GBP30000 - GBP35000 per annum
