Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is currently seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to join a well-established team in London. The role covers delivering water hygiene services across commercial and public sector sites, with planned and reactive duties and a focus on compliance with current regulations.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years' experience, relevant water hygiene qualifications, and a full UK driving licence. A company vehicle and training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience within water hygiene or a related plumbing position.
• Relevant water hygiene qualifications or training.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Delivering water hygiene services across a variety of client sites
• Carrying out temperature monitoring, system flushing, and water sampling
• Servicing and maintaining TMVs, including minor remedial works
• Inspecting, cleaning, and disinfecting cold water storage tanks and calorifiers
• Completing showerhead descaling and disinfection tasks
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01, and WRAS guidelines

Job Type: Permanent | 37.5 hours per week + overtime

About the Role

A well-established water hygiene and treatment company is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join its growing team.

You will work across a range of commercial and public sector sites, carrying out both planned and reactive water hygiene duties to ensure client systems remain fully compliant with current legislation and industry standards.
