BUUK Infrastructure is seeking a Water Field Technician to support the water asset team across Winchester, Southampton, Portsmouth, Basingstoke and surroundings. The role covers field work, on-site diagnostics, and adherence to health and safety and regulatory standards.

You will work in a customer-facing capacity, liaising with developers and contractors, while ensuring high quality water networks and reliable service. DBS checks and a driving licence are required.

Formación

• SHEA Water qualification is required.
• CSCS or an equivalent safety credential is required.
• Experience working within the water industry is essential.
• Experience in a customer facing role is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the escalation point to liaise with developers / customers and contractors.
• Engage with site stakeholders during planned and unplanned incidents.
• Ensure the network quality and integrity is maintained as part of an audit strategy.
• Audit and assess construction activities related to IWNL water mains.
• On customer sites, ensure compliance to relevant legislation.
• Ensure assets comply with technical and regulatory standards as detailed by IWNL.
• Undertake water sampling following outages in line with DWTS UKAS 17025.
• Attend meetings with site and construction personnel.
• Complete internal and external pressure and flow readings.
• Perform other tasks as required by the line manager.
