Job summary

Stantec in the UK is seeking a Senior Principal Civil Engineer within our Water division to shape major UK water projects and help deliver improved water supply, treatment and distribution for local communities. You will lead project teams, provide technical leadership across scoping to detailed design, and foster collaboration with clients across the UK and Ireland, with flexible working arrangements supported.

We value Chartered engineers, strong leadership, and experience in MEICA.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, ideally Chartered and a member of a relevant engineering institution.
• Previous experience in the water industry is preferred, with MEICA knowledge advantageous.
• Understanding of environmental issues including net carbon is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions from need to detailed design within project timescales and budgets.
• Support and manage project team members.
• Prepare and check technical reports.
