Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to lead and shape water projects across the UK, partnering with top water clients to improve how water is obtained, treated and distributed for communities.

You will guide design from needs through detailed design, support and manage project teams, and work on large-scale UK & Ireland projects in a collaborative, inclusive environment. Chartered status and MEICA knowledge are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Chartered status preferred.
• Experience in water sector engineering is preferred.
• Knowledge of MEICA disciplines is desirable.
• Understanding of environmental issues including net carbon is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor project teams on water sector projects.
• Develop solutions from need to detailed design.
• Perform scoping and design within required timescales and design budgets.
• Produce and check technical reports.
