Job summary

Stantec is recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer for its Water division in the UK. The role focuses on delivering innovative water projects from feasibility to detailed design, while collaborating with multiple disciplines and guiding junior engineers.

You will have a Civil Engineering degree and ideally be pursuing chartership. Prior water sector experience is preferred, with opportunities to influence local communities and environments through award‑winning projects.

Qualifications

• Must be degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Ideally a member of a relevant engineering institution and actively working towards chartership.
• Experience in the water industry is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions from needs identification and feasibility through outline and detailed design.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and manage design deliverables within budgets and timescales.
• Support and mentor new graduates as part of the team.
