Thomson is seeking a Technical Specialist to lead and grow our dynamic Water Team. You will combine technical expertise, team leadership and business development to deliver complex aquatic projects and shape the future of our water services.

You will work with clients and colleagues to provide practical advice, ensure compliance with legislation, and deliver high-quality environmental outcomes across terrestrial and aquatic projects.

Qualifications

Experience in environmental consultancy.
Background in aquatic ecology or hydro-ecology.
Track record of winning work and building client relationships.
Knowledge of hydro-ecological survey techniques, legislation and policy.

Responsibilities

Lead, develop and mentor the Water Team.
Deliver large hydro-ecological projects with quality and compliance.
Provide guidance on legislation, policy and best practice.
Win new work through bids and client engagement.
Manage budgets and ensure on-time project delivery.
