Job summary

Fyba Talent is seeking a Design Manager to provide technical leadership for water and wastewater projects. You will manage design personnel, coordinate workloads, and ensure outputs meet project requirements and company procedures.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and programs, and act as a key technical contact for clients while supporting tenders and preconstruction activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent is essential.
• Proven experience in a senior engineering or design management role, preferably in water.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary water design teams and multiple projects.
• Solid knowledge of water project development, design, construction and commissioning.
• Understanding of civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines in water.
• Familiarity with water treatment processes and preconstruction design.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving能力.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design solutions for water and wastewater projects from concept to implementation.
• Manage workloads, resources, priorities and progress across the design team.
• Ensure designs meet quality, environmental, health and safety standards and client specs.
• Identify design risks and implement practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate design activities with engineering, manufacturing, construction and project teams.
• Mentor team members, conduct appraisals and identify training needs.
• Report progress and risks to senior management and clients.
