Job summary

Fyba Talent is seeking a Design Manager to lead the technical delivery of water and wastewater projects. You will supervise both permanent and subcontract design personnel, coordinate workloads and ensure designs meet client specs and company procedures.

You will mentor team members, manage budgets and programmes, and act as a key technical contact for water clients, maintaining strong relationships while supporting tenders and preconstruction activities.

Qualifications

• Senior engineering/design management experience in water projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary water design teams.
• Knowledge of water sector design, standards and HSE requirements.
• CSCS, DOMS, National Water Hygiene or IOSH qualifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design solutions for water and wastewater projects from concept to implementation.
• Manage workloads, resources, priorities and progress of the water design team.
• Ensure designs comply with quality, environmental, health and safety standards.
