Arup is offering an Industrial Placement in Leeds for a 10–12-month Civil Engineering role with a focus on water and river engineering. You will work with experienced professionals on real projects, building your technical skills and professional network while engaging in site visits and leadership sessions.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong analytical and teamwork skills; adaptable and curious.

Responsibilities

• Develop drawings and models using AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
• Apply Excel for measurements, calculations and costing.
• Prepare specifications for surveys or construction of solutions.
• Review survey deliverables against specifications.
• Support design to deliver solutions.
• Draft technical reports.
• Conduct site visits for data collection and visual surveys.
