Arup invites a student to join our Industrial Placement in Civil Engineering focusing on Water Utilities in Cardiff. You will contribute to delivering innovative water and wastewater infrastructure solutions while learning from a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Civil Engineering degree, with skills in Microsoft Office and exposure to Python, FME and GIS. Flexible working arrangements and a strong support network are provided as part of our Early Careers team.

Qualifications

• Prospective candidate pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; programming experience with Python and FME; GIS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of water utilities projects with civil engineering inputs.
• Engage in data analysis, calculations, drawings and modelling under supervision.
• Assist in recording meetings, workshops and technical outputs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to review designs and share views.
