Job summary

Arup is offering an Industrial Internship in Civil Engineering focused on Site Development in Leeds. The role is part of the Early Careers program, designed to give undergraduates real project exposure from day one, including site visits and learning sessions with leaders.

You will work on real-life projects, learning from skilled professionals and building a professional network for post-graduation opportunities, with a focus on sustainable infrastructure development.

Qualifications

• You will be an undergraduate in Civil Engineering with skills in Civil 3D, MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out assessment, analysis, and design, preparing design reports, drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Developing infrastructure designs for development sites in the urban environment, including urban transport, site infrastructure, pavements, utilities and drainage design solutions.
• Collaborating with Arup colleagues in other disciplines.
• Meeting with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders, including site visits.
• Using specialist analysis and design software such as Infodrainage, GIS, AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Bentley MicroStation, ProjectWise, ACC, Navisworks, Infraworks, Plant3D, InfoWorks, Python, and Copilot.
