Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate - Civil Engineering in Water based in Leeds. You will contribute to drainage and flood risk assessments, water and wastewater engineering, and infrastructure design across projects in the water sector.

You will apply hydraulic modelling and engineering calculations using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and InfoDrainage, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with stakeholders to develop robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Full working rights in the UK required.
• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessment, analysis, and design, preparing design reports, drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Collaborate with Arup colleagues in other disciplines.
• Meet with clients, national agencies, local authorities, and other stakeholders, including site visits.
• Develop and appraise options and support the production of engineering solutions and business cases.
• Use specialist analysis and design software such as InfoDrainage, GIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ProjectWise, Navisworks, Flood Modeller, Tuflow, & InfoWorks.
