Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of water infrastructure projects in the UK, coordinating multidisciplinary teams through optioneering, delivery and handover. You will ensure compliance with NEC contracts, manage budgets and schedule, and foster a culture of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivery of infrastructure projects, including water sector experience beneficial.
• Knowledge or accreditation in NEC Contracts and related practical skills.
• Membership of professional bodies such as APM, PMI or MICE is desirable.
• Proficiency in use of project management tools and software.
• Competence in stakeholder management, risk, planning/scheduling, and commercial management.

Responsibilities

• Manage project proposals including determining project requirements, scope, resources, programme, and cost estimates (budgets) for delivering the project.
• Own the P&L with revenue delivery, margin and overhead management, budget and forecast determination and attainment, risk and opportunity reviews, cost controls, accounts payable/billing and cash collection.
• Develop project management documentation including PM plans, cost estimates, forecasts, risk registers, schedules, stakeholder registers, org charts.
• Monitor and control the project schedule, manhours, budgets, forecasts, and expenditure.
• Ensure effective contract management including contract administration and change management.
• Manage work performed by project team members, assuring outputs meet requirements.
• Manage deliverables, information, and records; communicate accurately to project team and customer.
• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams; promote continuous improvement and lessons learned.
