Job summary

Ashbourne Court Care Home is seeking a Receptionist who is warm, friendly and confident, with excellent listening and communication skills. You will deliver a professional meet-and-greet experience and provide strong customer service to residents, families and visitors.

In this role you will ensure the reception area is welcoming, handle inquiries, support the Home Manager with admin tasks, and liaise with staff to keep operations smooth.

Qualifications

• GCSE level or higher is required.
• Experience in admin/reception roles.
• Ability to work with a commercial mindset.
• Maintains professional composure at all times.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional meet and greet service to all visitors and callers.
• Maintain a welcoming reception area and surrounding spaces.
• Collect and report customer feedback to the Home Manager and offer improvements.
• Build relationships with the Home Manager, staff, residents and families.
• Support the Admin Manager with duties and cover during annual leave.
