Job summary

Advanced Supply Chain Group seeks a Warehouse Training Lead at the Handsworth site in the West Midlands. You will drive capability and performance through high-quality workshops, development programmes and training initiatives that genuinely impact the people involved.

You will assess drivers, onboard new starters, refine SOPs, update the training matrix, and contribute to the site's continuous improvement plan with a strong focus on KPIs and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Training qualification (PTLLS/AET) and/or assessor qualification (A1/Award).
• Experience developing training programmes and delivering qualifications (e.g. NVQs, Apprenticeships).
• 3PL experience and knowledge of SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional training and handle site training administration.
• Run candidate assessments, provide feedback, and record clear judgments based on observed competencies.
• Keep Site Matrix and training records up to date.
• Create/update and review SSOWs and SOPs to stay fit for purpose.
• Contribute to the site's continuous improvement plan and training metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, learners, and SMEs to ensure training material lands.
• Plan, schedule and communicate all training and assessment activities.
• Serve as the site's First Aider trainer in partnership with Health & Safety.
