Job summary

Advanced Supply Chain Group seeks a Warehouse Training Lead to drive capability and performance across the site. You will design and deliver training initiatives, run assessments, onboard new starters, and help colleagues sharpen their skills to reach their potential.

This hands-on, people-first role requires delivering professional training, maintaining training records, updating SOPs, and contributing to continuous improvement with measurable results.

Qualifications

• Training qualification (PTLLS/AET) and/or assessor qualification (A1/Assessor Award).
• Experience developing training programmes and delivering qualifications (e.g. NVQs, Apprenticeships).
• 3PL experience and working knowledge of SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional training and handle training administration across the site.
• Run candidate assessments, give feedback to drivers and managers on progress, and record clear judgments based on observed competency, knowledge and skills.
• Keep Site Matrix (training records) up to date to stay compliant.
• Create, update and regularly review SSOWs and SOPs to stay fit for purpose.
• Be a key player in the site’s continuous improvement plan and help shape new training metrics.
• Work with stakeholders, managers, learners and subject-matter experts to ensure training and material hit the mark.
• Plan, schedule and communicate all appointments and assessment activity, maintaining productivity and delivering value.
• Be the site’s First Aider trainer, collaborating with Health & Safety to train first aiders.
