Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor for a busy wholesale distribution operation in Tyseley, Birmingham, on a full-time permanent basis. The role leads warehouse teams to achieve picking, despatch, stock management and quality standards.

You will have at least two years' supervisory experience, strong leadership and planning skills, and be proficient with Excel. The salary is £31,500 per annum. This role offers career development opportunities in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' supervisory experience in a similar warehouse environment.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive, able to use initiative and drive improvements.
• Experience ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise designated warehouse teams on a day-to-day basis.
• Coordinate picking and despatch to meet deadlines and KPIs.
• Ensure accurate stock control and timely deliveries.
• Maintain high standards of quality and health & safety compliance.
• Support continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.
• Provide training, mentoring and development for team members.
