Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a Warehouse Team Manager to lead day-to-day operations, drive safety, and ensure SOPs are followed. You will coach and develop a team, monitor KPIs for time, cost and service, and communicate effectively with stock, HR, finance and recruitment.

You’ll be a proactive leader with strong organisation and people-management skills, able to work without direct supervision, and comfortable using Excel and Word as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and SOPs.
• Proficiency with Excel and standard office software.

Pay, benefits and more:

You’ll be paid a salary of up to£33,100.00 and receive 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays . What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Warehouse Team Members
• Manage Health & Safety and the Environment during shift whilst ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Drive your team members to succeed and be responsible for their own growth and development
• Meet and exceed KPI's including time, cost and customer service
• Ensure all team members receive effective business communications daily and deliver staff engagement plans to keep your team motivated

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Be a team player with energy and enthusiasm to live and breathe our core business values and beliefs
• Be confident and able to demonstrate strong leadership behaviours and have excellent team building and motivational skills to ensure you are setting an example to the rest of the team
• Able to communicate and interact well with all support functions including stock, HR, finance and recruitment
• Excellent organisation/ time management, interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
• People Management including experience of disciplinary investigations and other people processes
• Ability to work without direct supervision with knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
• Use of Microsoft Packages including Excel and Word with good analytical and numerical skills
