Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking Warehouse Operatives to join our Mossend site (ML1 4UY). This full-time, permanent role offers 40 hours per week across five days from seven, with choice of Days, backs or Nights shifts. You will load/unload, pick orders, and ensure accurate labelling and secure loading for deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Good IT skills and familiarity with warehouse systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload stock from vehicles and check for damage.
• Move stock to correct storage areas.
• Pick orders for customer deliveries.
• Build deliveries into pallets and label them accurately.
• Load pallets onto trailers and secure loads; uphold health and safety.

Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join the team based at Mossend (ML1 4UY).

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 40 hours per week covering any 5 days from 7. You can choose to work across three shifts: Days (06:00-14:00), Backs (14:00-22:00), and Nights (22:00-06:00).

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Loading and unloading stock from vehicles and checking for any damage
• Moving stock to correct storage area
• Picking orders for the customer (store deliveries not parcel)
• Building the delivery into pallets/cages and ensuring accurate count/labelling
• Then, loading these onto trailer & securing
• Maintaining Health and Safety in the workplace

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment
• Good IT skills
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
• Able to work on your own and as part as a team
