Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is recruiting a Warehouse Team Manager for our Sainsbury’s site in Northampton. You will lead a busy, multi-temperature warehouse operation, coaching and engaging a team to deliver high performance and a strong work ethic.

Working on the back shift 14:00–22:00, you will drive the day-by-day performance, implement continuous improvements, and ensure safety and on-time completion of the work plan. We offer a competitive salary and generous leave and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing a large operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement.

• Drive performance through effective monitoring of coaching and performance
• Review all aspects of shift performance, identifying areas for improvement

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Manager to join our very busy, Sainsbury’s team at our site in Northampton. This is a multi-temperature environment covering ambient, produce and chill chambers. You will be responsible fo r managing and leading your own team helping to coach, motivate and engage them to create a great team culture with a strong work ethic.

You’ll be working any 5 days from 7 on the back shift, 14:00 – 22:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,962.50 per annum plus a £195.00 per calendar month shift allowance and 33 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
