Job summary

GXO Logistics in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Warehouse Team Manager to support our fast-paced operation and lead a team of warehouse colleagues on day shifts. This permanent role offers a rotating pattern and aims to drive performance and safety.

You will coach, develop and engage staff, manage KPI delivery and ensure SOPs are followed, communicating with stock, HR and finance teams. The job emphasises efficiency, cost control and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in day-to-day warehouse team management
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge and SOP adherence
• Proven ability to drive KPI performance
• Strong communication with support functions (stock, HR, finance, recruitment)
• Proven leadership and staff development
• Disciplinary investigations experience

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Manager to support the operation within our Warehouse Team at our site in Stoke-on-Trent, Trentham. This is a chance to be part of a fast paced and challenging area of work to assist the Lead Team Manager in maintaining performance of the warehouse operations.

This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working on a rotating day shift pattern, covering the hours of 07:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 23:00, working 1 in 3 weekends. However, we do ask for some flexibility, this is logistics after all.

You’ll be paid a salary of up to£33,100.00 and receive 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Able to communicate and interact well with all support functions including stock, HR, finance and recruitment
• Excellent organisation/ time management, interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
• People Management including experience of disciplinary investigations and other people processes
• Ability to work without direct supervision with knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
• Use of Microsoft Packages including Excel and Word with good analytical and numerical skills
