Job description

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Manager to join the DC team in Speke, Liverpool.

This role involves working Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm on a rotational basis.

Role Overview

As a Warehouse Team Manager, you will lead, manage, and control your area of responsibility in line with specific KPI targets and time constraints. You will motivate, develop, and lead a team of admin and warehouse colleagues through positive behaviour, attitude, conduct, and communication. You will report to the Warehouse Shift Manager and be responsible for providing effective leadership, training, and development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead, motivate, and challenge your team to achieve high results and maximize productivity and service to stores.
2. Plan staff training and monitor performance and progress.
3. Ensure all KPI targets are met within your area of control and manage productivity accordingly.
4. Maintain high pick accuracy levels.
5. Utilize space and MHE efficiently, ensuring workplace health and safety standards are met.
6. Conduct relevant audits and workplace inspections.
7. Collaborate with peers and superiors to maximize efficiencies and share best practices.
