Job description

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Manager to join the DC team in Middlewich.

The work schedule consists of Saturdays and Sundays from 06:00 to 19:00, along with one weekday from 06:00 to 19:00.

As a Warehouse Team Manager, you will:

1. Lead, manage, and control your area of responsibility in line with area-specific KPI targets and time constraints.
2. Drive, develop, and lead a successful team of admin and warehouse colleagues through positive behavior, attitude, conduct, and communication.
3. Provide effective leadership, motivation, training, and development to your team.
4. Report to the Warehouse Shift Manager.

The key accountabilities of the role will include:

• Lead, motivate, and challenge your team to deliver high results and maximize productivity and service to our stores.
• Plan staff training and monitor performance and progress.
• Ensure all KPI targets are consistently achieved and manage productivity within your area of control.
• Maintain pick accuracy levels.
• Use space and MHE efficiently, ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met.
• Ensure relevant audits and workplace inspections are undertaken.
• Collaborate with peers and superiors to maximize efficiencies and implement best practices.
