Job summary

First Recruitment Ltd is seeking a proactive Team Leader to oversee warehouse activities in Milton Keynes. You will plan daily workloads, supervise staff, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of order picking while maintaining safety standards.

You will lead by example, coach colleagues, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement in stock control and customer service. The role is full-time, on-site, AM and PM shifts available to match peak periods.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading a team in a warehousing and logistics environment.
• Excellent people management and communication skills.
• Drive for creating a safe working environment.
• Knowledge and operation of WMS systems.
• Good level of IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise daily warehouse activities and delegate tasks.
• Manage stock, implement stock control and loss prevention measures.
• Supervise picking and checking processes to ensure order accuracy.
• Induct new staff and maintain effective team communication.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and incident reporting.
• Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes.
