Job summary

Rachel Hill Resourcing seeks a Warehouse Supervisor and Forklift Driver to oversee daily warehouse operations at the Milton Keynes site. The role combines supervision of staff, logistics coordination and safe forklift use to ensure efficient materials handling.

The ideal candidate brings a counterbalance forklift licence, mechanical aptitude and proven leadership skills, with experience in WMS/AS400 and collaboration with 3PL providers to manage shipments.

Qualifications

• Proven warehouse management experience in logistics or similar roles.
• Valid forklift counterbalance licence and safe operation demonstrated.
• Mechanical knowledge helpful for troubleshooting equipment.
• Experience with WMS and AS400 or similar systems.
• Strong leadership and process-improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving and inventory control.
• Operate forklift and material handling equipment safely.
• Drive process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain stock levels and records using WMS and AS400.
• Lead training on safety protocols and equipment operation.
• Coordinate with 3PL providers for outbound/inbound shipments.
• Inspect equipment and arrange repairs as needed.
• Ensure health and safety compliance in all activities.
• Support documentation, packing and delivery scheduling for shipments.
