Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to manage a busy Milton Keynes operation, ensuring accurate goods-in, stock control, and on-time order fulfilment. You will lead a small team, model best practices, and drive safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

The role requires practical warehouse experience, strong communication, and the ability to work across departments with office teams to maintain high service standards. Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small warehouse team in a hands-on environment.
• Strong organisational skills and practical approach to warehouse operations.
• Proficiency with stock control, picking/packing, dispatch, and warehouse admin.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a small warehouse team in a hands-on operational environment.
• Oversee all aspects of goods-in, stock control, order fulfilment and dispatch.
• Support picking, packing and dispatch activities during busy periods, staff holidays and periods of absence.
• Maintain an efficient warehouse layout, stock locations and FIFO processes.
• Monitor warehouse performance and maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and productivity.
• Train and develop team members, ensuring procedures and Health & Safety standards are followed.
• Conduct and support risk assessments and maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage warehouse equipment, consumables and general site upkeep.
• Coordinate with office-based teams to ensure customer service and efficient courier operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.
