Job summary

Deta Electrical in Luton is seeking a proactive Warehouse Team Leader to oversee inbound, put-away, picking, packing and dispatch activities in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise Warehouse Operatives, prioritise workloads and drive safety, accuracy and on-time performance.

Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Shift Manager, you will champion continuous improvement, support WMS enhancements and foster a culture of positive teamwork, quality and customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, including inbound, put-away, picking and dispatch.
• Experience leading teams and coaching warehouse operatives.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and compliance.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Responsibilities

• Supervise inbound deliveries and put-away activities to maintain accuracy.
• Oversee picking, packing and dispatch to meet service levels.
• Allocate workloads, monitor performance and develop staff.
• Ensure health and safety policies are followed.
• Support continuous improvement and WMS optimizations.
