Job summary

Masstemps in Tipton is seeking a hands-on Team Leader to supervise a small team of around five people. You will lead, organise and clearly communicate instructions, and manage goods in/out as well as the warehouse workflow.

Gains include opening the factory each morning as key holder, setting alarms, using a handheld scanner, wrapping pallets and operating a pump truck while providing practical support to the team throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team in a hands-on environment.
• Ability to clearly communicate instructions and allocate work.
• Experience with goods in/out processes and warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organise a team of around 5.
• Clearly communicate instructions and allocate work.
• Relay information to the team and take/give instructions.
• Book goods in on arrival and update the system.
• Manage Goods In / Goods Out.
• Answer calls from incoming deliveries.
• Answer the work mobile regarding delivery arrivals.
• Respond to emails when required.
• Open the factory in the morning as key holder and set alarms.
• Scan goods with handheld scanner.
• Wrap pallets.
• Use a pump truck.
• Provide general hands-on support to the team.

Team Leader - Tipton

The role involves working with a small team of around 5 people and is a hands-on position.

Main duties:

• Leading and organising a team of 5
• Clearly communicating instructions and allocating work
• Giving and taking instructions and relaying information to the team
• Booking goods in on arrival and updating the system
• Managing Goods In / Goods Out
• Answering calls from incoming deliveries
• Answering the work mobile regarding delivery arrivals during working hours
• Responding to emails when required
• Opening up the factory in the morning - key holder also setting fire alarms
• Scanning goods - hand held scanner
• Wrapping pallets
• Using a pump truck
• General hands-on support with the team

Hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm Mon - Friday

The company is offering up to £14ph, depending on experience.
