Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as Warehouse Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Counterbalance Forklift Licence valid refresher within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support warehouse operatives during the shift.

Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor

Location: Pershore, WR10

Pay: £14.00 per hour, depending on experience

Hours: 11:00 - 20:00, Monday to Friday

Contract: Ongoing / Temp to Perm

A well-established transport and storage company based in Pershore is looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor to join their busy operation.

This is a hands-on supervisory role, ideal for someone with previous warehouse leadership experience who is confident coordinating daily workloads, supporting a team and ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting warehouse operatives during the shift
• Allocating workloads and ensuring daily priorities are completed
• Coordinating the movement, loading and unloading of goods
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift when required
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Monitoring productivity and supporting the smooth running of warehouse operations
• Liaising with transport, warehouse and operational teams
• Supporting transhipment activities and the movement of goods between vehicles
• Dealing with operational issues and escalating where necessary
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Warehouse Team Leader, Supervisor or similar
• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence, refreshed within the last 5 years
• Strong warehouse and operational experience
• Good communication and team leadership skills
• Confidence allocating workloads and managing priorities
• A proactive and hands-on approach
• Ability to work effectively within a busy transport and storage environment
• Previous transhipment experience would be highly desirable
