Job summary

Staffline is hiring a Warehouse Team Leader in Bradley Stoke for a full-time night shift, 6pm–6am, at £15.68 per hour. On-site canteen, free parking and PPE are provided, with overtime opportunities.

You will lead the warehouse team, support the Supervisor in their absence, supervise inbound deliveries, ensure accurate picking and dispatch, and oversee loading/unloading with MHE while following Health & Safety and Factory procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a warehouse team or shift supervisor.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to work fixed night shifts in a chilled environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Warehouse Supervisor and act in their absence.
• Delegates tasks to the warehouse team to maintain productivity on ambient and temp-controlled areas.
• Oversee receipt of inbound deliveries and ensure goods are checked and recorded.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed and prepared for dispatch accurately.
• Supervise unloading/loading with Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) and ensure safety procedures are followed.

The rate of pay is £15.68 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed night shifts and the hours of work are:

• 6pm to 6am

Please note in thisposition you will be using Forklift Trucks so you will need to have FLT experience.

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Team Leader your duties include:

• Providing leadership support to the Warehouse Supervisor and assuming responsibility in their absence.
• Effectively delegate tasks to the warehouse team, ensuring productivity within a fast-paced environment across both ambient and temperature-controlled areas.
• Overseeing and monitoring the accurate receipt of inbound material deliveries, ensuring all goods are checked and recorded correctly.
• Ensuring customer orders are picked, completed, and prepared accurately prior to dispatch.
• Supervising the safe and efficient unloading and loading of deliveries using Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Ensuring all warehouse operations are carried out in compliance with Health & Safety, Technical, and Factory procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency across all warehouse processes.
