Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader/Supervisor for their Pershore operation. This hands-on supervisory role requires coordinating daily workloads, supporting a team, and ensuring safe, efficient goods handling during a 11:00–20:00, Mon-Fri shift.

The ideal candidate has prior warehouse leadership experience, a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (renewed within 5 years), and strong communication skills to lead a busy team within a transport and storage environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Warehouse Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (refreshed in last 5 years).
• Strong warehouse and operational experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support warehouse operatives on shift.
• Allocate workloads and ensure daily priorities are met.
• Coordinate movement, loading and unloading of goods.
• Operate Counterbalance forklift when required.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Monitor productivity and support smooth warehouse operations.
• Liaise with transport, warehouse and operations teams.
• Support transhipment activities and movement of goods between vehicles.

Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor
Location: Pershore, WR10
Pay: £14.00 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: 11:00 – 20:00, Monday to Friday
Contract: Ongoing / Temp to Perm
A well-established transport and storage company based in Pershore is looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor to join their busy operation.
This is a hands‑on supervisory role, ideal for someone with previous warehouse leadership experience who is confident coordinating daily workloads, supporting a team and ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and supporting warehouse operatives during the shift
• Allocating workloads and ensuring daily priorities are completed
• Coordinating the movement, loading and unloading of goods
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift when required
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Monitoring productivity and supporting the smooth running of warehouse operations
• Liaising with transport, warehouse and operational teams
• Supporting transhipment activities and the movement of goods between vehicles
• Dealing with operational issues and escalating where necessary
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

The successful candidate will require:

• Previous experience working as a Warehouse Team Leader, Supervisor or similar
• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence, refreshed within the last 5 years
• Strong warehouse and operational experience
• Good communication and team leadership skills
• Confidence allocating workloads and managing priorities
• A proactive and hands‑on approach
• Ability to work effectively within a busy transport and storage environment
• Previous transhipment experience would be highly desirable
• Pay of around £14.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday working
• 11:00 – 20:00 shift
