Vibe Recruit is currently recruiting for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to join a well-established business in Port Talbot. You’ll oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and lead a small, skilled team to ensure safe, efficient and high-standard performance.

This role requires a confident, proactive leader with a firm but fair style, capable of taking ownership, making decisions and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a warehouse team.
• Valid forklift licence.
• Comfortable with manual handling up to 25kg.
• Excellent organisational skills under pressure.
• Hands-on, proactive approach and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and support a team of two experienced Warehouse Operatives, allocating daily tasks and workloads.
• Oversee all warehouse activities, including goods in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Take a hands-on approach, supporting the team with physical warehouse duties when required.
• Ensure accurate stock control, stock checks and inventory management.
• Work closely with Purchasing and Dispatch to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, housekeeping and warehouse organisation.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day operational issues, taking ownership of warehouse performance.
• Support staff training, development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure warehouse equipment is used safely and correctly.

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum
Location: Port Talbot
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Vibe Recruit is currently recruiting for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to join a well-established business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the warehouse, leading a small, highly experienced team and ensuring operations run safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

We’re looking for someone with a firm but fair leadership style, who can take ownership, make decisions and lead by example.

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• Previous warehouse experience with supervisory or team leadership responsibilities.

• A confident, assertive and approachable leadership style.

• A valid forklift licence suitable for warehouse operations.

• Comfortable working in a physically demanding role, including manual handling and lifting loads of up to 25kg in accordance with safe working practices.

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure.

• A proactive, practical approach with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.

• Someone who leads from the front and isn't afraid to get stuck in!

Desirable but not essential:

• Pivot Steer (Bendi) forklift licence.

• Experience using warehouse management or stock control systems.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Previous experience handling or packing Dangerous Goods.
