Job summary

South57 Recruitment in Bedford is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy operation on a temp-to-permanent basis. The role offers £16.00 per hour, with hours Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, and overtime paid at 1.5x.

The successful candidate will lead a team of warehouse operatives, allocate daily workloads, monitor productivity and quality, ensure health and safety procedures, train staff and report issues to management to keep operations efficient and safe.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse team leader or supervisor experience.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate and support a team.
• Proactive and reliable with ability to work under pressure.
• FLT experience advantageous but not essential.

Location: Bedford

Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour

Contract: Temp to Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Overtime: Paid at 1.5x the normal hourly rate

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy operation in Bedford on a temp-to-permanent basis.

The Role

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation and helping to ensure the team works safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:
