Job summary

Paint Red Ltd is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader for the Evening replenishment shift at their fast-paced distribution centre. You will supervise a team, coordinate replenishment to designated pick locations and drive accurate stock handling.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years FLT driving experience, strong IT skills (Excel) and familiarity with a Warehouse Management System. The role offers progression within the group and benefits including pension and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' FLT driving experience (counterbalance and reach).
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management system (WMS).
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
• Proficient IT skills, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate evening replenishment across the warehouse.
• Ensure stock is replenished accurately to pick locations.
• Monitor stock levels and set replenishment priorities.
• Lead and develop a team of warehouse operatives.
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with policies.
• Monitor productivity and quality, applying corrective actions.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain workflow and continuity.
• Support training and development of team members.
• Support inventory accuracy and reporting of discrepancies.
• Drive continuous improvement within warehouse operations.

Warehouse Team leader - Evening replenishment

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team leader or senior warehouse operative looking for progression with a valid forklift licence to join a well-established team on a full time, permanent basis.

This is an amazing opportunity to work for a national retail organisation at their fast-paced distribution centre.

As a Team leader you will be responsible for:

• Supervise and coordinate evening replenishment activities across the warehouse.
• Ensure stock is replenished accurately and efficiently to designated pick locations.
• Monitor stock levels and identify replenishment priorities to support operational demands.
• Lead, motivate, and support a team of warehouse operatives to achieve performance targets.
• Ensure all warehouse activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor productivity and quality standards, taking corrective action where necessary.
• Liaise with other warehouse departments to ensure smooth workflow and operational continuity.
• Assist with training, coaching, and development of team members.
• Support inventory accuracy through effective stock handling and reporting of discrepancies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operation.

Core skills / experience required for this role:

• Good operational DC inbound and outbound experience to effectively lead a team
• Good understanding of warehouse management system
• Strong communication and coordination skills
