At GXO, we are currently recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Crewe, supporting our partners on site, TJX (TKMaxx and Homesense).

GXO is seeking a talented and passionate individual for the position of Warehouse Team Leader to oversee the efficient running of warehouse functions, prioritizing health & safety, colleague engagement, wellbeing, and development, while meeting operational KPIs & targets.

This is a full-time, permanent position working any 5 from 7 shifts, from 14:00 to 22:00, with some flexibility required.

Pay, Benefits, and More

We offer a salary of £31,824 per annum. Additionally, benefits include 28 days of annual leave (including bank holidays), high street discounts, a cycle-to-work scheme, a workplace pension, and access to the GXO University portal.

What You'll Do on a Typical Day

• Report to the Shift Manager and plan, manage, and adjust staffing levels to meet operational needs and customer priorities.
• Communicate daily tasks, procedural changes, health & safety updates, and audit requirements to the team.
• Complete shift handovers accurately with incoming/outgoing Team Leaders and Shift Manager.
• Update the team on targets and accuracy checks, providing training and feedback, and addressing poor performance.
• Oversee unloading inbound freight and organizing outbound pallet picking.
• Handle HR tasks such as Return to Work, Incident Reporting, and Absence Management via T&A.

What You Need to Succeed at GXO

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced FMCG warehouse environment, from goods-in to dispatch.
• Experience working towards targets and managing a small team.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
• Good knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation.
