Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader

Pertemps Aylesbury is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our manufacturing client.

Hours:

8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Salary:

Up to £35,000 (DOE)

Duties:

Management:

• Ensure the warehouse is resourced to the required levels at all times.
• Manage and cover the out-of-hours calls rota, ensuring proper resourcing and prompt reaction within an hour, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Motivate and manage teams for effective work.
• Participate in departmental and company meetings.
• Provide reports on KPIs, stock, and processes as needed.

Warehousing:

• Manage unloading and processing of all incoming deliveries.
• Ensure correct stock location, update inventory records, and pass paperwork to relevant departments.
• Accurately document stock returns and process credits.
• Provide customers with correct part numbers and records.
• Ensure shipments are packed properly to prevent damage.
• Complete daily and full stock checking schedules.
• Maintain a tidy and safe warehouse environment adhering to health and safety rules.

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse management experience and team leadership skills.
• Competency in MS Office applications.
• Ability to cover on-call duties (must reside within 45 mins of the location).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Confidence in checking invoice details.
