Job description

Warehouse Team Leader

Shift: 2am - 11am Monday to Friday

Are you an experienced warehouse professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for operational excellence? We are seeking a proactive and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join our client and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of their warehouse operations during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods using Counterbalance and Reach Forklift trucks

*

Lead, coach, and support a team of warehouse operatives to achieve performance targets and maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency

*

Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and promote a safe working environment

*

Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control and audits

*

Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure timely order fulfilment and customer satisfaction

*

Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to optimise workflow

Requirements:

*

Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally in a supervisory or team leader role

*

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

*

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

*

Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage

Flexible, reliable, and committed to team success
