Job summary

Pertemps Bond is hiring a Team Leader in Birmingham. The role involves leading a team of up to six staff per shift, managing AM/PM rotations, and ensuring safety and process standards across warehouse operations.

You will supervise PPE and MHE checks, conduct shift meetings, and coordinate with management to meet customer expectations. A forklift licence is advantageous; training can be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing small teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with daily use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of up to six staff per shift.
• Work rotating shifts and cover extra shifts when required.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Check PPE compliance before start of shifts.
• Complete MHE checks at shift start.
• Lead start-of-shift meetings and toolbox talks.
• Respond to shortage calls within customer timescales.
• Operate MHE with training provided.
• Log and action shortages reported by Line Envoys.
• Answer duty mobile calls and record information accurately.
