Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting for a Production Operative Supervisor to lead the night-shift team at a busy site in Dudley. The role is temp-to-perm with duties including supervising production, monitoring machinery, and ensuring safe, efficient operation through the night.

The ideal candidate will have leadership or supervisory experience, FLT qualifications, and hands-on mechanical knowledge to keep production targets and quality standards on track in a recycling/manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• FLT experience with a valid licence.
• Experience operating industrial or production machinery.
• Mechanical knowledge of plant equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Hands-on approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the night-shift production team.
• Monitor production and machinery performance.
• Operate production machinery when required.
• Identify and resolve production issues and carry out basic troubleshooting.
• Make decisions to keep production running efficiently and safely.
• Support health & safety procedures.
• Ensure targets and quality standards are met.
• Operate an FLT and move materials safely.
• Report faults to management and maintain a clean, safe environment.
