Job summary

Selecta in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Warehouse Team Leader on the PM shift to drive daily operations in a fast-paced distribution setting. You will lead staff, coordinate workloads, and ensure safety, accuracy, and housekeeping across all warehouse activities.

You will act as the first escalation point for issues and cover the Logistics Manager when needed, contributing to continuous improvement and delivering on KPI targets across picks, dispatch, stock accuracy, and shift

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in warehouse/logistics environments.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and WMS systems.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage warehouse staff across shifts to meet targets.
• Plan daily workloads and allocate labour according to workload.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Promote safety and conduct risk assessments across shifts.
• Act as first point of escalation for day-to-day issues and improve processes.
• Support recruitment and training to develop staff and multi-skill across departments.
