Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a busy warehouse and manufacturing operation in Bicester. This full-time temporary role involves supervising a team of roughly seven operatives, managing goods-in, stock movements and dispatch, allocating workloads and meeting productivity targets.

The position offers £15.00 per hour, immediate start and the chance for extension; candidates with previous warehouse leadership and strong health and safety knowledge

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Team Leader or Warehouse Supervisor position is essential.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Experience working in a busy warehouse/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting a team of approximately 7 warehouse operatives
• Allocating workloads and ensuring productivity targets are achieved
• Monitoring goods in, goods out and stock movements
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety across the warehouse
• Supporting and motivating the team to achieve operational objectives
• Assisting with stock control and inventory accuracy
• Investigating and resolving operational issues efficiently
• Working closely with management to ensure smooth warehouse operations
