Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is assisting a client in Preston Brook to recruit a Warehouse Operative for a busy logistics team. This full-time, temporary-to-permanent role offers a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (06:00-18:00) with a daylight pay rate of £13.98 per hour, equating to £28,351 per year.

Responsibilities include picking, loading and sorting flat-pack furniture and white goods, using handheld scanners, and operating PPT/LLOP/Reach trucks while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is essential
• PPT/LLOP/Reach truck experience required
• Willingness to learn and undertake training

Responsibilities

• Picking and loading products using handheld scanners
• Operating MHE such as PPT or Reach trucks
• Manually sorting flat-pack furniture and white goods for dispatch
• Conducting basic quality checks prior to dispatch
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Adhering to health and safety procedures
• Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties
