Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to drive customer experience across our stores by leading warehouse operations, ensuring stock accuracy and maintaining high standards. You will support the management team, coach staff, and contribute to a fast-paced retail environment.

The role involves unloading deliveries, managing stock, and occasional shop floor duties to gain broader skills. A hands-on leader with a can-do attitude will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff and providing feedback to management.
• Experience in retail operations and stock processes.
• Forklift license is ideal.
• Punctual and well presented with a can-do attitude.
• Eager to learn new skills in a busy environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and check stock.
• Maintain warehouse and yard safety and tidiness.
• Oversee warehouse operations and stock control.
• Supervise stock processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with management and staff to communicate and address issues.
• Coach and deputise for stock controller.
• Assist on shop floor and other store areas as needed, including take-to-car deliveries and heavy lifting.
• Handle key holder responsibilities.
